Brent A. Ostendorf died tragically in a single-car automobile accident in July 1990. This 16 year old was a very good artist who was very popular and well liked by his peers and teachers, who described him as very quiet. He would have graduated with the Class of 1993, who honored his memory at graduation with a special poem written by his classmate, Amy Meyer Ahaus, and an empty chair draped with a cap and gown.
